what will happen to the man or object drop in that straight hole that goes from this side of the earth to opposite side of earth ( just assume its possible to dig it).Will he pop out to other side of the earth towards the sky? assuming he got a suit and gadgets so he will not burn in the core area or any gadgets to complete the fall to other side of earth.

If he falls freely with no rubbing against the walls of the hole he'll gradually speed up until he reaches the center of the earth, then he'll coast on past the center, gradually slowing down until he rises just to the surface of the earth on the other side where he'll come to a stop momentarily. Then he'll fall back down into the hole and repeat the motion in reverse. (It will be simple harmonic motion as one of the other responders said.) This will happen over and over. He won't stop at the center of the earth. I believe a round trip will take about 90 minutes.

The man will reach the core, continue past it a bit, and then rebound, eventually coming to rest at the core. This is because gravity acts from the center of a body. The motion will not be unlike that of a person on a bungee jump. To continue past and come out the other side would be moving up from the core, which would be in defiance of gravity. If you were at the other side, you would see the man fly up out of the hole.

assuming he could survive the spped of free fall and you could drill thru the earth and the molten core then he'd pop out the other sideand prolly drown when he hits the ocean or carry on into space but it's not possible or practical to make a hole through the earth

I would say under the topic of Physics which is what you put this under that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Under these conditions, it would finally come true on visiting an oval object such as the earth.

It'll go through the Earth and get sucked in again in Earth's gravitational pull. It will be in orbit of the Earth then there after, similar to how a satellite is.

in case you dig to the middle and attempt to dig further "down", that's actual up because you're transferring faraway from the middle, you'll finally end up digging upwards because the middle will be pulling you to itself. you could dig a hollow by skill of from opposite ends of the international though. (commence digging at both factors) And if a guy falls in the hollow, the centre of the earth would only pull the guy to the centre, so the guy will be floating on the centre of the earth and he would regrettably be burnt and cooked there for eternity witht the diggers by way of overwhelming warmth on the middle of the Earth.

i think he ll stay right in the middle of the distance. because ppl at the other side of the earth are being attracted by the same weight as the others....
