At first blush, I would think it to be a scam for sure. This is something that would be uncommon for them especially at the same time. You can go on line and ask them if it is real. Live help on AOL

Has to be, why would they care who your friends are? If you recieved it via. E-mail. 100% chance its a scam. If you got it regular mail or by phone then I'd say 98% chance its a scam. I don't see how it can negatively affect you but all your friends won't be happy when the get a ton of junk e-mail.
