There was something so beautiful about the quiet and empty Sand Dunes of Death Valley.I fell in love with it, and the enourmouse skys and sunsets.

It depends. In the USA (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) the Florida Keys!!! In Europe or Asia (including places I have been), definitely the islands of Greece! Spain is very nice also.

for me it's a toss up between:
the French Riviera, I especially liked Monaco
&
the Hamptons, Long Island, New York, I especially liked Westhampton Beach- much less pretentious than the others

israel. it is holy for me as a jew, but the variety of landscapes (none of which show up in quite the same way in the US) in that little land is breathtaking. There is also nowhere else in the world like sfat, an ancient jewish city built entirely from stone.
