I don't think that the U.S. will be leaving Iraq until the question of a stable oil supply has been answered. The idea that the U.S. has any real interest in establishing real political democracy under the puppet regime they have established there is just a massive load of hot lunch from a dogs butt

Yes, and I think it will be soon. The Republicans see they
will need a big event to gain favor with Americans before
the Election. I think its too late for them now.

But America will keep a foothold in Iraq as there is too much oil there to just walk away.

COME ON GUYS! They have HUGE bases in Iraq! Built not for just for a short period but for years to come!I mean we will cut down the level, but I would guess about 40 or 50,000 troops will be there for years!

Yes probably within two years when our fine military has driven out the terroists and Iraq soldiers and police can handle it.

We will when it is the time...I do not know if there is ever the right time. Since we started this path, we need to be patient and to try to do the right thing...whatever it is.
