Yes. But the real question is what are you doing with your seven days a week, starting today. Remember the Lord (God) has given you this day. So live it.

I'm not working at my real job today, but I'm working on moving . .and "working" on Answers! :-P

I will be working next Saturday, though. blah.

If there were 8 days a week, then I have the feeling that our employers would expect us to work 6 days a week. Or at least, the people that DID work 6 days a week would get the better jobs, raises, and promotions.

Personally, I think employers should realize that we often have a lot of 'extra' time at the office ... chatting, surfing, inefficient meetings and conference calls, poor processes, etc. If these could be streamlined just a little bit, then we could probably get everything that our company needs done in just four days. Then we could have three day weekends all the time. As long as the business didn't expect us to do even more.

I'm not working, but I just think that we need a longer weekend. We should only work Monday-Thursday. No one really does any thing at my job anyway on Friday. We just sit around wishing we could leave. We can't even get a hold of other businesses because they are all doing the same thing.

I am a stay at home mom and a care provider for two elderly relatives. I never have a day off.

Not any more. I made it home safely, made supper, and with luck i'll make it into the shower, and then make it into bed.

(It was a *very* long day.)

(And tomorrow i get to do it all again.)
