I don't think you could become as good as a Shaolin monk in any certain number of hours, it would take years. Are you taking Kung Fu classes right now? You could probably defeat a Shaolin monk with strength, it just might be harder to do...they're not supernatural, so of course they can be defeated.

you can alwayz defeat a m onk if you put your mind to it... about hours of practice,, it a lot of work.. because as far a i know, in china they train from 4-5 AM in the morning till 9- 10 PM at nite sometimes they only get 4-5 hours of sleep....
