ARGENTINA, no doubt. They really play as a team, without selfishness. They have amazingly skillful players, even on the bench. The members of the team are very close. Pekerman is an excellent coach. And most importantly, they are ready to leave their heart on the field.

I love and support Portugal but fear ARGENTINA...
Being objective, of the countries that have impressed me the most...
GERMANS will NOT do it...
SPAIN have a very good chance but I don't think they will either...
PORTUGAL... they would have to be more like the Portugal we have come to know if they are to offer some sort of serious problem to Argentina.
Last but not least, let's not forget the TRUE contenders of the World Cup... The referees... They have been the champions of BIAS and CHEATING in the past. In the 2002 World Cup they astonished us with their wonderful BIASED performances and they should have been the ones holding the World Cup with their performances with siding with the South Koreans against the Spanish (two perfectly good goals disallowed) against Portugal (sending two players off, when Portugal just does NOT have ever players sent off), and together with Sth Korea against their other opponents. Superb performances by referees who earned that famous remark by Scholari and I quote "WHEN POLITICS MEDDLE WITH SPORT YOU END UP WITH CR_P AS RESULTS" -- It is in fact at this sort of stage in world cups when referees begin to have fun siding with their favourites. Let's have our eyes open and watch them have fun.
I will end with a thought for you... and it is directly related to "referees performances"... HOW MANY SMALL COUNTRIES HAVE EVER WON THE WORLD CUP IN THE LAST 40 YEARS ? LAST 50 YEARS ??? Is it perhaps because it is better for football and for business if LARGE countries win it ! That is the biggest opponent of Portugal in the World Cup.... their size and referees "dislike" of small countries.

England. Palyed not great and already won twice. Hard to win at the WC, and harder to win when you are not playing that well. Could go far.
