Our nation does not focus on Soccer (futball) the way other parts of the world does. Therefore, some of our very best atheletes train for other sports, ( American football, and basketball, and baseball) As professional atheletes those sports tend to pay way more here. I watched the last 20 min of the US v Chech match and well, they were taller, heavier, and bigger muscles. I'm not sure we even stood a chance. Perhaps someday, and I admire those striving for that sport. It is a very physical sport. :)

They've already been eliminated, so yeah... but even before the Round of 16, if you weren't biased on supporting the American team, you would know that they don't really care about football/soccer, and focus on different sports (i.e. American football, baseball, a little hockey and basketball).

I do not think so... they lost 3-0 to Checz Republic and today they are playing against Italy, who´s much stronger than them... so if they loose tonight they are out...

hamburg is happy, that they left. do not take it personally america...but those security an safety steps, where taken by the time...oj oj.. hamburg was looking like ossama himself is coming... and finally we could celebrate the marathon run, which was to be canceled...to safe us-team from "bad" germans
