Talk to your doctor, but generally you can do any exercise you were doing before you got pregnant.
There are a few exceptions. No sit-ups. No water-skiing. And some doctors say no high-impact kinds of activities.
My OB, however, said that these things are kind of self-regulating, and that I could continue to play, say, indoor soccer until I didn't feel like it anymore. I rode my bike until the day I was put on bed rest due to preeclampsia.

Agree with black_beauty.
Walking is the best one, but limit it to 15-25 minutes. Don't force yourself.
You can still do whatever you're usually doing before pregnancy, but don't start a new exercise program.
I also go swimming a lot, even though it means more floating than actual swimming, but it's fun and take off your body wirght for a while.

A great book out there is called "Pregnancy Fitness--mind body spirit." It is done by the editors of Fitness Magazine with Ginny Graves. I liked this book because it does touch on cardio, muscle toning, as well as the mental side of pregnancy. I would recommend reading it. Good luck!

Talk to your doctor, depending on what stage you are at, there are a lot of things you can do. Stay away from inverted positions in yoga.
But your doctor can suggest a lot of things... not only that, but especially early in your pregnancy, you can continue working out as you always have.... running, lifting weights, aerobics. Get permission from your dr. and check online for specific pre-natal programs, or check with your gym.
