The best in my opinion is R&B, Gospel, or Hip Hop. But I don't really care for Rap or Opera. Everything else, I can deal with.

The best and worst is a matter of personal opinion. As individuals we are all different with our own personalities and preferences.
I prefer Pop and I believe that Rap is not even music, However, this does not necessarily mean that one type of music is better than the other... It is one's personal taste.

The best music is rock and roll from the Stones and AC/DC and the worst is rap. Not all rap but some of it is annoying.

of course all answers to this question are subjective, but I like rock (disturbed, union underground, three day's grace) and classic rock (led zeppelin, rolling stones, tom petty) and i really dislike most rap (i like ludacris and snoop) and country (cause it's just too much lost stuff: my dog ran away, my wife left me, i spilled my beer, etc, etc...).
