I am planning on traveling through the Quebec area and need some ****INEXPENSIVE**** but **nice** lodging and points of interest. I am planning to start in Toronto, then to Ottawa, on to Montreal and then Quebec City. Any small towns B&B's along the way that are good?? Is there something more interesting to see not too far from this parth?? Do you recommend something different other than these cities listed?

I already have purchased my ticket and will be starting in Toronto on July 7th.

Your input is very valued! Mainly need the Lodging recomendations. Not too pricey but nice. I am on a budget.

I can't help you with most of the places you're visiting, but when I was in Quebec City last month, I stayed in the Auberge internationale de Quebec. It's right in Old Quebec and only cost $26 per night (dorm room). The location is fantastic, the employees are helpful, and the rooms are clean. When I go back to QC, I won't be staying anywhere else.

Bon voyage!

in all of these cities, and many more, there is a Hostelling international hostel. It is usually downtown and very cheap. When you are a member, it costs about 25$ a night a shared room or 65$ a night in a private room. usually, there is a self-kitchen in the basement. check www.hihostels.ca A must for a budget

I visited Québec City with my boyfriend in March, and we stayed at the Hôtel Manoir d'Auteuil. We only paid $80 per night for an economy room, which is realy inexpensive for Québec City. It is a very nice place to stay, and it is located in Old Québec (Vieux-Québec). You can learn more by going to http://www.manoirdauteuil.com/en/index.asp
