I love Angie because she has a good heart and is a wonderful person. But it bothers me that she never seems to adopt one of the millions of unadopted kids in America.

I agree, your country's children should come lst. But it should not matter where a child is from, as long as that child gets a loving family. And i know that we have a lot of children that do not have families here. But a child is a child and no matter where they are from, they need a loving family .

America is one of the countries that loves to adopt. In foreign countries it's more common to loathe adopted children. It's seen as a disgrace. Orphans in foreign countries have a less chance of being adopted and maybe Angelina Jolie knows that so she is trying to help out.

It's easier/quicker to get children in other countries. American adoption needs to be reformed so kids in our country could get the homes they deserve.

I have many opinions about AJ...but God bless her for awareness and making a contribution. Adopting a kid whether here or abroad is comendable.....she's very active in the countries of the children she adopted (Cambodia and Ethiopia) she had a house built in Cambodia, so her son can see where he comes from. And that country isn't a joke....so regardless of her personal stuff.....I think her heart is in the right place. And she does donate money and time as well to make a difference. We shouldn't try to find fault in people who are doing SOMETHING.

It is easier to adopt children and orphans in a foreign country because the child's relatives aren't able to sue her to get their baby back like here in the US. Once the real parents or relatives find out she's adopted their baby they can go after her money or even take the baby back. Basically, it's a done deal in other countries while here could be risky.

She has done a lot of ambassador work and the children of those countries touched her heart. She wants to give some hope. She probably will eventually adopt an American child, I think she is just getting kids of different races to prove that love is blind and colour of skin doesn't matter.

she's working on some kind of relief for the world that is worse off, thus she adopts these kids. American kids even if unadopted will have food and shelter.

THEY are hot 4 a while then its over. PRIME example Micheal jackson. Hes not only not hot people can t stand him. BUT at one time Micheal was hot hot hot. THEREs many more like that.JUDY garland Dorthy in the wizard of oz.SHE was so famous at one time she was a house hold word.THEN the bottom dropped out of her fame, she became super depressed and then..... well you know the rest of the story.

She adopts from poor countries. But I remember reading a statement that Jolie said.. There are too many children to adopt for me to have my own children. But now she and Brad have a baby girl of their own. Their baby, Shiloh, is going to be gorgeous!!!

You are right. I have wondered about that myself. The only way to find out the real answer would be to ask her in person but since that will probably never happen we have to come up with such an answer ourselves. I can't come up with an answer. But it is a very good question that deserves an answer.

she said she was gonna adopt on from each continent...
think about it the U.S. is a decent place to live i'm sure the african orphans don't have the same life our U.S. orphans have.
my cousin grew up in an orphanage they get fed and presents, toys for tots, companies.
i'm not saying there's no hardships, and it's not sad or even unfair.
but i do beleive the orphans in other countries aren't as fortunate and also lots of them have diseases like her daughter did when she got her.our goverment will make sure our kids aren't sick like that...
