My advice- Dont go to Australia. Indians are not welcome there. I have spoken to many Indians who are in or have been to Australia and almost all had the feeling that the Australians are racist, especially with Asians and native Aboriginies. Dont believe me? Ask someone who has been to australia. After talking to them I dropped my plans of emmigrating to Australia. Do consider the UK or the US or maybe even Canada for your further studies. They may be a little costlier but the salaries after your studies is higher than those of Australia plus the people are much nicer

I'd have to agree with ash_m_79 on that. I've been "Down Under" a couple of times and noticed that while white Yanks and Brits were warmly welcomed, Asians and non-Aboriginal blacks were not treated nearly as well.

In some parts of the UK, Asians are not treated much better either. This is more pronounced in the industrial north rather than the collegiate centers such as Oxford and Cambridge.

There is some push-back against Indians in the US, mostly because of issues surrounding out-sourcing of IT jobs to India, but this seems to be improving as US companies learn that out-sourcing isn't the panacea that it once was though to be.

Your educational choice seems to be well though out. I've worked in IT for many years and the most successful folks are the ones with a solid grounding in both IT skills and business. Many IT techies are blissfully unaware of the business side of things and are incapable of making a business case for IT projects. This severely limits their career progression.
