i used proactiv and i am going to stop but i keep on having dry skin which i never had before. so i need to find a new brand or something.

anything used on the face to treat acne will usually cause dryness because of the ingredients used to treat acne. Because of this you need to find a good moisturizer. Ask a dermatologist for a good one for your skin type if you can't find one.

I know this sounds ridiculous but when I started to really break out, I started using just regular bar soap (like Irish Spring and such) and I cleared up right away. It dried my face out, so I did have to use moisturizer but I don't have breakouts very often any more at all. Most bar soaps have an antibacterial component in them, which takes care of the most common cause of acne. I never used to have bad skin, then I used ProActiv and I broke out like I had severe acne. Whatever you do, DON'T get ProActiv! Also, I have also used Clean and Clear's Continuous Control and loved it. It really did a nice job of preventing any reakouts, even if I missed a day of washing my face. Again, it will dry you out so get a good light oil free moisturizer.

i haven't used proactiv before, but i think that dryness is the exfoliating process of the product. if the peeling bothers you, you might want to try a water based moisturizer.
neutrogena is great, its products already have moisturizers.

Well, If you are planning on using the lotion, that will help the dryness, but if you are just planning on using the face wash, I don't think it will prevent the dryness.

neutrogena is quite good brand for cleaning face / reduce acne.
i stop using sebamed and change to neutrogena.
because sebamed made my face dry.
