No, there has never been a President from Wyoming, but as a matter of fact the current Vice President is from my high school (i.e. Natrona County High School, Casper, WY) and the last Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) , Master Chief Herdt was also from my high school.

"Tom Stroock, a Republican politician-businessman in Casper, Wyoming, got Cheney, then a senior at Natrona County High School, a scholarship to Yale. "Dick was the all-American boy, in the top ten percent of his class," Stroock says."

"James Herdt: Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, the 9th person in history to be named to the position,(MCPON). He reports directly to the Chief of Naval Operations (ADM Johnson, the top ranking admiral in the Navy), and has been selected as THE MOST OUTSTANDING enlisted member in the entire Navy. He is a graduate of Casper's Natrona County High School - class of 1965."
