back in the early 1980s i bought one. it looked like a black softball with a very small one inch copper brush at the top. it had to sit on a sheet of newspaper because the dust in the air fell around the cleaner. my apartment's air was so free of dust that my lungs and nose opened up and i felt like i was breathing the air in snow country. now i am looking for another to replace the one lost in the late 80's. my laptop's insides look like a lint trap for my dryer and it is always over heating. I want to solve the air freshness problem and the dust clogging of my laptop.

It splits air into positively and negatively charged particles. When there is more of negatively charged particles the air is supposed to be pure.

Like the air you feel near any water falls. Or just after rains have fallen. Because of between the falling water and the air. you feel fresh!
