Actually, it couldn't be any worse than it is with the men driving. Have you ever seen traffic in Riyadh? Talk about a nightmare. Those men have obviously never had proper driving lessons. Maybe the women could bring a little charm and grace to the road, that is until the muttawah (religious police) starting hitting them with their sticks.

Too be honest. I don't see it happening!
Too much against them doing so. They have to learn to rise up against what they believe in, in unity. When they get tired of being treated as they are and they all ban together, then the changes they are after will happen. Just like the women in the U.S. stood up in unity to master what they should have had all along, so will the women in Saudi Arabia.
What?!!! Are they going to gun them all down at the same time because they are tired of being treated like dirt? Don't think so!
Men can be stupid BUT I don't think they are that stupid over there.

there will be more people on the roads in Saudi Arabia
more accidents
more deaths due to accidents
Other than that, there aren't any disadvantages to women being able to drive there.

I'm fairly certain it's against the law there...
so you'd probably be arrested...and I 'm sure that's not a pleasant experience in Saudi Arabia!
