Portugal is a solid team but was a bit suspect on the defensive end at times....needlessly so! Iran played well. What they lack in skill they make up for in effort. When they start to run out of steam they leave gaps and that is why they have given up 4 goals in the last 20 minutes in both games. Portugal will probably play down next match (they don't need to win) but will not advance out of the next round unless they play a bit better than today.

Portugal look pretty weak. They couldnt even score until 60 odd minutes. They certainly wont win it, though they've got some quality players.

portugal seemed very weak although i know they are so much better than this!!!especially ronaldo, when he's good he's very good but when he's bad he's really bad unfortunately. lol iran is a different topic because their football is 99% politics!

Iran was very good but didn`t have good and brave players to go for goal and portu seemed not very strong. IRAN PLAYED BETTER.

Too much individual play by the Portuguese. I don't like their chances against either NED or ARG.
