I met the owner of the mfgr. company for Tornado when they first brought the product to market. I saw a demonstration that seemed to support his claims & I also received one for free. My van seemed to run smoother with it. But I also Dyno'd my van, baseline without & then with it. There was no increase in hp. Fuel consumption tests over the next few months indicated no change in fuel economy.
I did find some things that worked, and exceptionally well. One was a K&N high-flow air filter. The other was a (custom-made in my case) stainless steel exhaust system from Borla Performance. Eventhough these products produce horsepower, if you keep your foot out of it, you will see increases in fuel economy.

the big 3 auto makers pay millions of dollars for CAFE fines (corporate average fuel economy) most gadgets dont work, or they would install them at the factory, the best way is to have a properly tuned vehicle with a functioning emission system, the O2 sensor is the best fuel economy device as it measures and regulates the fuel air mixture. The only thing that really works to improve mileage is synthic oil Mobil 1 but the increase is very small but it does that by reduced friction. If you follow the manufacturers requirement whether 5-30 or 5-20 as the heavier oils are not needed, you will get increased life of the engine, last car had 197 K and never even removed valve covers, no oil consumption, no engine work was performed vehicle was stolen and crashed otherwise it would still be running

Your RAM is fuel injected.Unless the air intake is obstructed or restricted(dirty air filter) or the exhaust is restricted-nothing you add will improve mileage. The computer uses input from many sensors to adust fuel, timing etc to keep emissions at the proper level. The computer has a compensatory ability to compensate for minor changes due to dirty plugs, dirty air filter and other things. The oxygen sensors in the exhaust are the final judge of what comes out the pipe and the adjustments necessary to make that happen.Save your money or put it into a nice stereo. You'll enjoy the benefits more. One last note-manufacturers pay a hefty price to the government for poor fuel economy.Your trucks mileage is a result of a compromise between performance, driveability and economy. If it could be better economically, then it would be.

Well, I guess everyone covered this question. BUT, I have found driving down hill increases my car's performance and fuel mileage. So, if you can Jack up the Back with Air Shocks or Risers of some sort, it may help.
