It depends on what do U want to clean from your hard disk...
if it si the temporary files you can find them in Documents&Settings and ALSO in windows /system32 / config ... u can use registry cleaners like regcleaner or like the other guy said CCleaner, also if it is AdWares and SpyWares u want to clean use AdAware, Spy Bot, Spy Sweeper and Spyware Doctor.... and for the end : Best way to clean your hard drive is to use command like : format c:

Just click start,accessories,system tools, disk cleanup. This will do the job, if you want more than that you are talking formatting. This will really clean up everything including the programs you have installed.

try defragmenting too you can set it up to run on a schedule, if you really want to clear out everything that didn't come on your computer try restoring it.
