I have two... I had the first one done, but the doctor botched it and didn't remove all the foreskin, so I didn't have the second one done.... if you choose to leave your baby uncircumcised, make sure you teach him when he's older about pulling the skin back and cleaning.

no. First, before you decide, you should definitely witness a circumcision. It is barbaric and painful. Second, the reason most people cite for doing it is for health reasons. This may have been an issue many, many years ago when people's hygiene was less than ideal. Today, those issues don't exist. And last, many people say they want their son's to "look" the same as their dad. In my experience, my son at a young age never even observed any difference and by the time they are old enough to see a difference (elementary age), they are more private about their body and don't stand around and looking at each other anyway. I've talked to my son about our decision not to circumcise and he is very "proud" of it. He can't believe that other boys have had part of their penises cut off. Good Luck and I would just suggest that you investigate your decision through the internet or library before you just blindly do it.

Yes I have twins and had them both circumcised. Just don't let them do the circumcisions with the plastic cap which hangs on for several days. The results are not very good. Better If they just cut the foreskin off completely and evenly behind the head and be done with it. And as far as pain, Neither of mine barely made a fuss.

Yes, both of my boys are circumsized. My older one is actually going to see a urologist because the skin grew back over and my son has had problems with his. His has bleed a couple of times and it just bothers him. He's constantly cleaning it and adjusting himself. He's only six years old. It's a constant problem. If he can't do things without it bothering him then theres something wrong.I definately feel boys should be circumsized.Just make sure it's done right when there a baby. We always thought that there was still to much skin ,but we didn't know we were still young and it was our first child.I hope my story helps you out a little.

Once upon a time, circumcision lead to improved health. Nowadays, that is less true (although still true to some extent, it depends on how well boys are taught to clean the foreskin).
Personally I don't intend to have my kids circumcised.

I have a son who was circumcised. His dad is Jewish, so, there ya go. I think most males are circumcised and it seems to promote better hygiene. Besides, have you ever been with a man who wasn't? I don't care for it myself.

Yes he was circumcised and I plan on having my baby circumcised when he comes. It is cleaner and healthier. And is better for their partner's when they are older. If you are having a baby and you are questioning on why or why not to do this, you can talk with your doctor they can help you.

I have 2 son's. They both werecut. I did this because in my opinion its much easier for them to care for. Theres less to clean, and it doesn't look funny. My husband is not circumcised. He says that he wishes his mom would have done this for him also.

My husband and I choose not to have our son circumcised. There is no need to have it done, it is only a cosmetic thing.

We chose not to circumcise our boys. The reason was because our pediatrician suggested not to. We believe it is unnecessary. We teach them proper hygeine and have had no problems. I wouldn't want my sons to be mad at us for choosing to circumsise when later down the road, %70 of their buddies aren't. Medically, there is no necessity for it. That is why we didn't go that route.

When my son was born I really debated on this one. Circumsion isn't really needed for medical reasons, its just for appearances.
So after talking to the doctor about my concerns we opted for a "partial circumsion" which is just the bit of skin that hangs off of the penis was trimmed off. He still has some foreskin that he has to pull back to keep clean.
As for being with a man that isn't circumsised if you wait til you already love the man just as he is before finding out whats in his pants, it won't matter one way or the other to you.
