Here is an idea. Buy a pretty gift bag, and buy a bunch of stuff like baby wipes, diaper rash ointment, rattle, a bottle, a bib and maybe a package of onsies. All these things are fairly inexpensive and all are needed for a new mom. You can even find like travel size baby stuff for her diaper bag. All this shouldn't run more than 15 bucks.

See what is on the person's registry. There are always inexpensive items that the person puts on there on purpose. You could get a small bottle bag for 10-15 at target or babies r us. Wipes warmer is a good gift and usually less than 15. I would go online and check out www.babiesrus.com

and you can narrow down the products by price.

same thing at target.com

There are a lot of good answers here! I know that almost every week Michael's craft store has a coupon in it for 40% off one item. With that said, they have a lot of neat things, like a kit that you can use to create a handprint in, or ready made frames and photo albums (you could dress the album up by hot gluing some baby themed wooden cut-outs on the front, they even have some pre painted). Good luck!

i would advise you to buy either a baby monitor ar a bouncer, both would normally cost 19.99 and look for sale you would get these wonderful items for 10 - 15 (depending on % of sale). i bought all my baby stuff only when there is a good deal going on.so plan for something around 20 - 25 and look in for deals so that u will get very godd items at the price u r looking at.good luck

You might think it's tacky, but I was very grateful when my sister bought me a HUGE bottle of Dreft (baby detergent). Whoever is having the baby will be doing lots and lots of laundry, and will be very thankful! You could also throw in the Dreft stain remover as well. Together, they should cost about $15.

How about a bag of diapers, a clothes outfit, a baby book, bottles and nipples set, a baby's first hand/foot print set. A baby bath gift set.

Go to one of those dollar stores and buy things like baby butt cream and baby wash, little socks, tiny hairbrush kits, onesies, or antibactirial hand sanitizer (for mom).

Or diapers. Diapers will be LOVED, wipes too!
