this sewing machine was left to my mother by my grandfather and looksvery old and in very good condition. This is why i would like to find out when this sewing machine was made.

go to the singer site with the model# and serial# u can find the year, where it was built and the # of machines built

i believe that singer probably has a website maybe they could tell you, but you would need to send them a picture.
