I think britney is a prime example of "i thought babies were cute- wanted to have one and now I see it's not as easy as I thought." She has made SEVERAL stupid mistakes in raising her son. She has been caught drinking while pregnant with her second child on several different occassions. I don't think she's a responsible parent. YES the papparazzi hound her. YES everyone knows every move she makes.. but isn't that what she wanted when she decided to become famous? I also believe we learn from example- anyone who's mother let them pose for semi-pornographic pictures in Rolling Stone magazine at the tender age of 15 cannot be expected to know much- if anything at all- about parenting. She makes excuses for her stupid mistakes- blows them off like they're no big deal. Kids DIE from the stupid mistakes she makes. A less wealthy mother would have lost custody to the state by now. She says the media is trying to make an example out of her?? The only example I've seen made is that money can buy your right to be a neglectful parent.

From what the media shows, it doesn't look too good. However, she has more pressure than most moms in that she is constantly stalked by photographers. If you were a mom, would you do the same thing?
She said that she was trying to protect her child from photographers by hiding him in her lap while she was in the car. Regardless it was a very bad idea, but it's somewhat understandable why she did it.
I think she's doing the best she can under her circumstances. She seems to come from a good family (she's close with them), so I'm sure she wants to be a good mom to her children.
I do feel sorry for her though. Being a mom is already difficult enough. Now the world is watching and criticizing her every move....good and bad.

I think Britney wanted to be back in spot light so she got pregnant; what a better way to make people think you are going up right? Wrong...because she isn't appearing to be very responsible. I know the media does blow things out of wack..but I have a son who is 18 months old and I haven't left him unattended to fall out of a high chair in my kitchen. I also don't take him places that I think would be unsafe. SO Maybe Britney should move to a more reclusive place and raise her kids, Demi did it, her and Bruce had that cute house in Idaho. Sure for awhile the media would still bug her..but after awhile and with the right location they would get bored. She doesn't want to be in the spotlight then move to a remote area...Alaska, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho...there are endless places that the media don't want or can't afford to spend time running around looking for her...of course then she couldn't go shopping all day everyday and have $35 coffees whenever she wanted...but you have to sacrifice to be a good parent.

NO! She is a spoiled brat that needs her butt rearranged up around her ears. Having her child on her lap while driving? If any of us were caught driving like that we would have been in more trouble with the law then you could shake a stick at!!!
She does nothing but whine, moan and complain constantly. I wonder where in her mind she thought motherhood was going to be anything other then "Oops, I did it again"!

she is not a good mom. Not even a responsible mom. she do not care about her kids. she drives with her little few month baby in her lap. I do not no why her kids are still with her. Court must take them away from her. And know she is going to have a another baby WOW ! WOW !

You should have watched dateline NBC this past Friday she really explained everything that had been going on lately. I think that the paparazzi has gone extremely too Far!! she is a good mom!!!

From what I've seen in the media, which I know isn't always correct, I would say her poor kid and upcoming kid don't stand a chance. That dorky husband of hers will be teaching them how to smoke pot before they can write their own names. I think she has a lot to learn about parenting.

we only see what is on the news and in the tabloids. every mom makes mistakes with their children. the whole not having the baby in a car seat was very irresponsible. almost falling with him in her arms happens more than you think. everyone trips. unless we are with on her on a daily basis no one really knows how good of a mom she really is.
Seriously leave the "stars" alone.

I think she is a good mom, people just like to trash celebrities to keep up a story cuz they have nothing else to write about. and the real new media dont want them and their gossip...

i think a lot of its made up wiht britney.. She probally isnt as bad of a mother as the media has made us to believe
