Everyday I stand my ground. And I am sure so does everyone who was born and raised in the United States has to "stand your ground". To protect and save what is theres... This case being our "homeland" being taken over by illegals ...they are not immigrants. Because I wont give them the title until they do it the right way. Not jumping the boarder. And I have to "stand my ground" cause I have to protect my job. Or they would have my job too.

I took a lot of grief when I did a dieting experiment. All I heard was how I was getting too thin. However, when the experiment was done and I got down to my perfect body mass (and learned tons about how to stay healthy, by the way) I got my justice. Now I can still say "I told you so" to all those who gave me all the crap. In general, though, if you can reasonably support your argument and run it by some of your peers you can usually figure out whether or not you should stand firm.

An oak stands firm against all adversity...a willow bends with the winds of adversity. Which would you rather be?

Yes, we can stand our ground on our moral high road. But what are we choosing to accomplish? We alienate others when we try to be in that spot. Nothing is worth that kind of stand. Bend with the winds until they turn in your favour.
