No.
If your doctor said No, trust him on this. It could be a number of things from Stress to Female problems, However, Stress is a biggie when it comes to late periods.

It is possible that you got a false positive. If you are getting negatives too then I highly doubt you are pregnant. If you did get a positive you may have experienced a "chemical" pregnancy. This occurs when a pregnancy is acheived but fails to be viable due to many reasons. A positive result can occur and then later followed by a period. This is the body getting rid of the unviable pregnancy. Negatives will then be a test result because the pregnancy has ceased and there for no longer making the hormone. Chemical pregnancies are VERY common and many many women will experience them. Some don't even know they were "pregnant" because they will get their period and just assume it was late, having not tested yet. But then again, who knows, you may be pregnant. I would ask my self if I "felt" pregnant or had any other symptoms that would lead me to believe I was in fact pregnant. If you truly believe that you are pregnant I would wait a least a few more days amd take another at home test or go get a blood test. Regardless of what a home test shows if you wait another week and get a blood test you will be between 3 and 4 weeks late so a positive would definately be confirmed or denied. I wish you the best of luck!

Pregnancy tests are not 100 percent reliable. There is 1percent chance,You can repeat test by pourchasing a home test kit.If you fail to conceive for long period, have a hormone test or thyroid test with the help of a doctor and take his/her advice.Good Luck

when i was pregnant, my first 2 pregnancy tests were negative so i waited a few weeks (my period still had'nt come) i then took another and that was positive. Tests are 99% correct when positive but not when negative!!

Any other symptoms? Tender breasts? You may be able to see the blood vessels in your breasts (they tend to be more apparent with pregnancy....Did your DR do a blood test? I personally would wait another week or two, sometimes HGC levels take a little longer to get to the height that they need to be to be seen on a test stick.....

Hope this helps a little bit!!

You could be pregnant and the second test is just not registering enough HCG to give a positive. Or you could have had a very early miscarriage...

You DIM-WIT!! If a professional like a physician who has years of schooling and training under his belt says you are not pregnant (according to the information you are giving to us here) - do you think he is just joking with you? sheesh.. get a life, relax and no, you are not pregnant.

It would really help if you could spell properly before you really do get pregnant and raise an illiterate child.

As far as i'm aware you're more likely to get a false negative than a false positive, but I can't see the GP being wrong. I hope you get the result you want - good luck!

Although it's hard to wait, and you're probably a nervous wreck about it, you may need to wait an additional week.

This happens to me almost every Christmas season. It's due to stress, not eating right. It could be due to excessive exersice.

Didn't your doctor give you any reasons?

If you are not entirely sure of the doctor's result, seek a second opinion. Works for others and it will give you a peace of mind.
