Okay first I believe that no it's not a choice, you don't choose which girls you fall for, I don't choose which guys I fall for, you just do. Second I wanna say before i'm accused of being homophobic i'm a straight girl but i have gay friends whom i love. I know this kinda wasn't the question but I wanna sa to all the people out there quoting the bible I know where you're coming from, I'm a firm catholic and I have read the quotes however I just can't say that being gay is wrong. I expect most of you out there would use contraception and have sex before marriage, however this is against religion too. Also the bible promotes love and what difference does it make, its still love. Thought i'd just put that in there. xxx

It is a sin. And it is wrong. you will find the majority of people here will tell its ok to be gay. Alot of people will say it isnt a choice. that they are born that way. Maybe so. but ask a child molester if he wanted to be like that. He will tell you he cant help himself. That he was just.... born that way. we seem to have trouble nowadays defining right and wrong, there is a huge gray area. people ignore the bible, being gay is not new. Ever heard of Sodom and Gomorrah? hence the name, sodomy. if your not familiar with it, you should check it out for your friend. You'll be shocked at how many people say its ok to be gay. You'll be shocked in twenty years when people say its ok to sexually abuse kids. I am not kidding. Try and tell your friend this, and remind him your there to help him get some counseling. Hopefully you guys know there is a God. God Bless..........

I don't think it can be just a matter of choice. It is a matter of orientation. They have proved the brain patterns are different anyway.It is just a minority variation in the human condition so it gets persecuted.

No, it is not wrong. After a while, when you're friend dragging you around all of the gay scene, in and out of clubs etc. You will see that it could be a better life!
I'm not homosexual myself though, I also have a friend who is the same.

First of all, it is clear that homosexuality is nothing short of a natural thing. Second, those people here who equate being gay with "child molesters" are just plain ridiculous. The last statistics shows that there are more incestous (mind you all of them are st8) "illegal sex" than any others. So **** off you two rightous bible hugging asshole and shuve it!

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah (Jude 7) because of the homosexuality ....he finds it detectable...see also 1 Corinthians 6:9-11...God does not allow us to go on thinking that wrong conduct really makes no difference; he kindly but firmly warns us of the consequences and provides help for those who want help....let me know what you decide
