or is there someone out there interested in buying it, this is a classic bike in it's original light blue paintwork and in excellent condition

It would be worth about £250 to £450 depending on condition. If it is good, original condition, it is worth more than "tarted up". So if the paint is original, don't be tempted to "improve" it, you will only make it worth less! Have a look at adverts for similar bikes in "Classic Bike" magazine, or "Practical Classics". That would be the best place to sell it. Or contact the BSA Owners club (do a google search on BSAOC).

I tend 2 agree with the bloke who thinks that 1978 is a bit late are u sure that it has not been restored and re- registered in 1978 try the Bantam owners club specialist bike clubs usually have a frame/ engine number data base somewhere or a bearded bloke who can tell you everything there is 2 know about the subject of the specialist club good luck with it tho !!!!!!!!

Somewhere out there, there will be a fanclub or a bike club for this machine. Search the web, and then ask them. I would say its worth a fair bit, especially running. Dont sell to a dealer; they will rip you off. Good luck. (I had a green Bantam in the 1950's)

1978 seems a bit late for a batam,are you sure?1968 seems more reasonable
abour £500 probably,though they will always be grey porridge and should be given away.Re register it as a 125,sell it to a rose tinted learner,(or his dad)for more cash,if nowt else it`ll put the lad off British bikes for ever

depends on whether you have the original docs, reg book etc.
condition of bike etc , expect around £1000 , depending on condition
