Run a cycle through with just bleach when that's done run a cycle through with white vinegar.

Run a cycle using baking soda. Also, after you're done using the washer, you should leave the door open as to prevent mold and that musty odor.

Run a cycle with baking soda (no clothing). If the smell is real bad, let is soak for a while.

If you have any mold growing, you need to do the same with a half a jug of bleach first.

After cleaning, you may wish to keep the lid open to let things dry out.

put some bleach in the washing machine and run it through the rinse cycle. this may help.

If you don't have baking soda, vinegar works to, just run it through a cycle. Works well to refresh a dishwasher. : )
