I have been abstaining for 5 yrs, but its starting to take a toll on my body and mind. The last year has been especially hard, I seem to be thinking about it more often now. Is it time to give it up and start having sex again?

Don't GIVE up, darlin! PLEEEAAAASSE don't give up! I know your struggles. There are some good books out there to help. Are you waiting to be married before you do it? I wish you would. Soon as that door closes on the honeymoon suite, it should be ON then! Please continue to wait. I know you're having a hard time. They say a lot of comfort can substain you. Go to the pet store and pet some puppies if you don't hate animals or the smell of a pet store. Eat bon bons, Buy furry pillows. Ask the LORD to sustain you. You can make it. I gave up some good stuff and now I am happily married, although that doesn't solve all the issues, but that's another story. Please hang in there. I'm praying for your strength. Hugs help, too, but don't hold on too long.

I don't know your age, but Yes, I think it is. You have abstained for 5 years, and time is wasting. You will be old someday, and wish you had had more fun when you were younger.....like I do now!
