You know that Silica is poisonous, so you should definately not eat it.
It is a form of Silicon, but highly dangerous if ingested.
Many people don't realize this, but the stuff is actually very handy to have around the house. I never throw any of them away.
Keep a container, properly labeled as "Poison", but hang on to the stuff. Why ?
When you are going through your old boxes of photo albums and such, toss one in. Your photos will last much longer.
Also, many of us have file cabinets ... same thing. Toss one or two in the bottom of the drawers with your important papers.

NO - you will just get a killer stomach ache. Silica is poisonous to the human body. The "don't eat" on the side of the package should have probably tipped you off to that...

You might get killer cramps from eating it. Can't you see on the outside of the packs of silica it says "Do not eat".

the way I see it is
WHY MESS WITH PERFECTION....
you do not need anything added at all
your the best they come
but if you still feel you need to,
you need to put it in a blender with some dietary fiber and blend it up real real good in some MILK
and then drink it down,
the milk will help it find its place..
