Although you may not get along from time to time (not unlike a friendship), I believe that there is always an underlying, unconditional love between family.

My sister and I have not spoken for two years. It does not mean that we don't love each other, it just means our differences have not been resolved.

No. Family is incontrovertable.

My 22 year old brother and best man showed up for my wedding late, drunk, and with a stripper he'd obviously taken home from work the prior evening in tow. I still love the stupid moron. He's my brother.

I think that is possible. My sister has not spoken to me since my wedding day 2 years ago. She moved and I do not know where she lives. My parents do, but I really don't care. She obviously has a problem with me, but I have moved on with my life. She is not a part of it.

I had done it for short periods of time ever since my little brother was born. but i can't bear hitting him even when he hits me. sometimes I cry when my little brother gets hurt or scared. but no tin front of him. hating and loving is part of life.
