stick a garden hose in a fresh run and flood them out, then catch them or whack em.

You can go to the hardware store & buy a thing that, when the mole passes under it, it will plunge the trap down & kill the mole .
I am an avid gardener and this is the only way I have ever been able to control the moles. I have tried planting castor beans , and putting the seeds in the mole tunnels. Didn't work, I have tried
putting some smelly white balls in the tunnels, that doesn't work. Only the mole trap killing them works!! Good Luck to You.

They used to make "wind vanes" out of metal that had a ball bearing inside that rattled back and forth when the wind blew the vane around. This sends vibrations through the stake and into the ground. My pop used one of these back in the 80's with solid success but in a relatively small area (if I remember right, about 20 feet by 35 feet).
Like a previous writer said, they also make noise or vibration devcies that you can use. I don't know how effective they are, but I would guess they work.

Go to a hunting supply store and buy some fox urine. Put drops of this anywhere you see a run. Poke a hole into the run with a pencil and put a couple of drops in it. Moles will get out because a fox is one of their natural enemies. The will run for their lives! Hope this helps.

You have only two choices, you can use mole traps which usually squash the bugger across their chest, and you have to check them regularly. Or you can use pocket gopher bait which usually consists of zinc phoshide pellets. You simply perforate a hole in multiple places on their trails, pour about twenty pellets and cover. It won't be long until the moles become fertilizer for your lawn. I have tried every home remedy I could find with no luck.

There was an infomercial on how to get rid of any pest. I can't remember the name but they had tons of ways to get rid of them. One of the ways was to put a radio (just like a small cheap one that only costs a few dollars) in the mole hole and put it on station with heavy bass (rock or rap) and leave it in the hole. That is supposed to get rid of them. They hate the sound or the vibration.
I can't remember the other methods but do a search on "remedies to get rid of pests" and it may bring up that book I was talking about.
Good Luck! Let us know if you get rid of them!

They make electronic devices that go off periodically and send vibration into the ground.
They are very effective. I've used them and got rid of moles, armadillos, skunks and a lot of other pests.

Put juicy fruit gum in their holes. They'll eat it but can't digest it. Not the most humane way, but the only thing that worked for us after we tried traps, vibration sticks, flooding their holes, and pouring bleach in their holes.

Your local feed store or hardware store can sell you chemicals that are environmentally safe which will run the critters OUT without harming you are them.....or you could buy traps, which WILL harm them and potentially children or pets, or you could call a local lawn service which can treat them for you.
