Does this mean he is gay? How likely is he to turn his secret fetish into reality by meeting someone online? I recently found out that he subscribes to certain groups and I saw that he even added some transsexuals to his friends list.

No, if they're really transsexual he's not gay. Although it is questionable whether he should be 'seeing' such a person if they are pre-op. But I'd say it's just as likely he will turn an Internet acquaintanceship into a reality as if he were in any other category of preference.

The idea that people become attracted to different aspects of others is behind the saying "there's someone for everyone."

He is curious about his attraction, as well, I'd wager, and is exploring it. It doesn't mean he is gay because a transsexual (male to female gender reassignment) is a woman in every respect except natural biology. It is a fetish and a recognized one.

Not knowing him personally, or how long he has recognized this fetish, I don't think I have any clue as to how likely he is to turn fantasy to reality.

No, it does not mean he is gay.

Hetero and Homo-sexuality are outward directed. They relate to who you are attracted to. If you are male you are attracted to males providing you are gay. You might like gentle males, or sweet males -- but those are attributes of their behavior, you still like their d**ks and male style *ss*s and looks, and so forth -- even if gentler better kept versions.

Trans - sexuality is inward directed. The person is concerned about what they are. It has nothing to do with what they desire. In the process of changing however, they become a member of the opposite sex. So, the male you are talking about is being turned on by women, they may once have been men -- but they are women now.

This all presumes that you really meant to say Transsexuals and not Transvestites or Drag Queens.

This, 'man' is most likely still hetero as you speak of. But, it seems he may be hiding bi-sexual feelings and doesn't advertise these openly. Transsexuals, generally M-F, are a grouping because of their special needs to be aligned to the gender that is en-grained in their brain. So one has to conclude either way they are female, and quite available as well as suitable lovers for Mr. Hetero -man !

What ever floats your boat...try not to be judgmental...God can handle that all by his/her self......=)

If you are fully positive that you can find women sexually attractive instead of men and you really want to dress up like a woman, then that my dear, is what is called a metrosexual. Heterosexual with homosexual traits, not involving having sexual feelings towards someone of the same sex.

It could very well be that he is Bisexual. In fact many gay men begin by dating cross dressers. It seems to make the transition easier for some of them.

don't know what catagory he'd fall under, but i believe you couldn't exactly call him "heterosexual" anymore as that would refer to a man who likes women...
