Chocolate.
No...seriously, if you are having that much trouble and you turn into someone else during that time, you may have PMDD. This can be treated by your doctor with a series of short term meds in the days before.
You would only have to take them for 3-7 days before or during your period.
They usually prescribe Prosac in a low dose (10mg), but call it something else so that the person doesn't think they are taking "crazy" meds.
It would be good to see your doctor for a checkup. (Especially if you see a Gynecologist, not just an internal - general - medicine physician)
Be honest and don't sugar-coat the truth.

I am currently going through that same problem. Yesterday afternoon I felt so depressed (as I sat down and ate ice cream on the couch) I didn't want to see or talk to anyone and I wanted to cry forever. I decided to step outside (take my 2 dogs w/ me) and enjoy some of our 20 acres of beautiful woods and open fields. After walking around for about 30-40 minutes I was a little hot and sweaty and was focused not on my own personal needs but that of my dogs and just enjoying the nature around me. I felt so much better it had really lifted my spirits. Try getting some excercise or just going to the park and walking around. Also, try doing something for someone, possible ask a nieghbor or a friend if you can walk their dog (if you don't have one) because that way they won't bug you about what's wrong with you... and you can really focus on something else besides you. Trust me this helps, sitting at home on your bum does nothing to help you. Plus my husband was away at work and so I couldn't have him help me, because he really helps.

This is a serious medical condition known as PMS and can be treated by seeing your GYN and discussing it with her. Stay away from sodium; MSG; Get a good Chocolate candy bar like a hersey bar, this tends to help women during that time of the month. The darker the chocolate the more theraputic it is. See your GYN.

all of the feelings are completely normal. eating healthy, having an active lifestyle and having "you" time are some of the things that can help to balance emotions. if you feel that you have tried everything and nothing seems to be working talk to your obgyn doctor or general medical doctor. sometimes being on birth control pills helps to level out these emotions. if your already on birth control pills discuss this with your doc anyway. maybe you need to try a different type.

i in my opinion desire the time period ADOPTEE. I have under no circumstances theory two times about it. The time period "followed man or woman" only sounds.... nicely... kinda weird and wonderful to me. all of us has their own own perspectives as to why they opt to be called both or and no remember the way you're saying it, someone obtainable'll be indignant one way or yet another. Adoption and various the topics that bypass alongside with it are little question, VERY, VERY smooth matters. yet together, some are, i trust, a touch hypersensitive at the same time as it contains this difficulty. i wager possibly by way of their existence thoughts. i don't experience that both label is way less validating, one is only more desirable direct and to the point.

I get the same way, I have been taking Valerian Root (it comes in capsule form) whenever I start feeling that way. For me it usually starts about a week before my period is due to start. You can get valerian root at a health food store, pharmacy and some grocery stores. It acts as a natural relaxant. Exercise also helps!

Eat all the chocolate and ice cream you want!

If it truly is worse than a normal PMS -- go to your Doc, they can usually prescribe a med to help with the PMS blues/ mood swings!

Good luck!

Find things to do by yourself. Do something that you enjoy. Stay away from LOUD people or a lot of noise.
