Luckily, most of the time when babies have falls like this they do not suffer any serious injuries. Especially if there was no loss of consciousness, if the baby is acting normally afterward, there is no vomitting, the baby moves all extremities equally, and is eating and drinking fine.

If she seems a bit "dull" or groggy though, then at least you ought to call your pediatrician's office and talk to the doctor on call. If this is not an option for you and the baby is NOT acting normal then you will need to take her in. Though it is unlikely, a head injury may need to be ruled out. I would recommend either talking to the doctor on call or taking her to an urgent care or ER since she is not acting normally.

Uhhh, NO!! After raising several children to competion I think I know quite a bit about health issues, but any one should know about falling injuries, she may have a concussion- look up symptions. Falling to sheep easily sleeping acting groggy confused later You don't say how old she is, but for goodness sake TAKE HER TO A DR. With those sympons
it soulds like a concussion to me and babies can die from any kind of brain trauma. Here's hoping it is not too late. i'll pray for her, I always found that that helped me get through rough times.

In cases like this its always best to have them checked by a doctor, the dr will tell you to keep an eye out for lethargy, vomiting and if that happens to bring them back if not the all is ok.
