I can't seem to get it through my parents' head that one of my teachers isn't teaching me. My IQ is probably at least 30 points higher than his. He is ridiculous. What can I do so that they will believe me. I think he should be fired because he is not doing his job, which is teaching. If the quality of my work was as poor as his is, I would be fired. What should I do?

The only reason that he is teaching is so he can coach the sports team. He doesn't even want to teach, he just does that so he can coach.

It isn't that I hate the teacher, he just doesn't teach. I have had to explain things to him, so he would understand the book. I don't think that a person that needs their students to explain things to them is a credible teacher.

Honey, what I learned is that you don't learn from teachers. You learn on your own - teachers are just the coaches and some of the coaches are bad.
NO MATTER: Whatever I've learned in my life that has any value, I have learned on my own by reading books on my own - no single teacher has taught me anything but how to memorize and they didn't even do that right.
If you really want to learn the subject, figure it out on your own and excel on your own. The education system sucks and it's up to you!

I don't think there is anything you can do. In my day the teachers were just believed, or Rather you couldn't fire them.
I would beg for grinds from your dad. And or go to your vice principal and ask to be put into another stream, higher or lower (I had to do this, but we were not allowed drop out of the highest class!!) I don't think you can do much. Perhaps ask your Dad to go to meeting with the vice and you?
Are you on good terms with another teacher? Can you ask their advice?

try talking to a guidance counceller, maybe others have had a similar experience and have said something to someone. Or talk to your principal they are there to help you. Find someone you trust and will listen to you. Good luck.
