Write a formal letter to the managing director of the garage, pointing out that the salesman (Mr Whoever) told you that the car had a full service history and it was on the basis of this that you bought the car. Point out that they still haven't produced the genuine service record despite several reminders, and because you have been kept waiting so long you have done research with BMW UK and the garage who serviced it before, to find that an important service was missed out and your car therefore has not been properly maintained, despite what they claimed. Request his proposals in writing within 7 days and send a copy to BMW UK for their information. Keep copies and if you don't have a satisfactory response go to Trading Standards. It seems clear that the salesman is a liar.
