wow .. how far east?
I do enjoy cultural or traditional dances. Steeped in history, they are often the product of a thousand years of refinement. There can be meaning in gesture that must be learned by a westerner, however the over-all impact is just as strong.
Personally, I like Japanese and Balinese dance ... I'll ignore ballet for the moment and guess the question is as vague as it wants to be.
The joy of the large group pieces, the dedication to detail and the unique costuming always cheers me!

eastern dances its d compain of almost all d sports &artistic thing in d world some of dem r so romantic like mohiniyattam it means a beautiful women dancing to please her boyfriend or her lover u can compare kathak with karette d movements is so similar to dose i belive in d world d dance base u can find in eastern dance form

I love Eastern dance, especially Israeli dance. It's so lively and full of joy and meaning. It's all about love, praizing God and the joys of life.
