i have loads of ants on my lawn, which make regular visits into the house

have tried powder & liquids, what else can I try

Nippon Works. They carry it back to the nest and it kills every thing, just follow the instructions

ants in your garden is far better than ants in your pants... But have you gone to your local gardening center? They may have a solution. It depends on the type of ants. The ants in your home are the big black ones(sugar ants). I would make sure you don't have carpender ants. They leave small piles of saw dust. We once had carpender ants, and they destroyed the back end of my home. They came from a tree that was filled with them. They are like termites...

I had the same problem and I went to the local home and garden store and they were able to reoccomend a spray that you put around the edge of your house, windows and also on the inside. It worked all season long and the same bottle lasted two years. Not bad for about a $5 investment.

Theres ants in my garden what am I going to do, Reeeeeeeeeeemix. Claim the copy rites to that, I wont mind. Theres nothing really you can do with ants, possibly find the food source and loose it or wait till they go themselves. sorry about the first bit and good luck with that.

Boiling Hot Water into the nest if you can find it - otherwise contact your local council and they can sort it (for a small fee of course).

use one of the many ant baits on the market, they have always worked for me if you follow the instructions!

Call in your local council pest control services, even if they charge you I am sure they will eliminate your problem.
Local council pest control are usually very responsive to such problems

find where they are coming from (the nest) boil a kettle of boiling water and pour over it will kill the nest and all remaining life.
