A pretty sundress that hits around the knee would be nice. I wore a dress like this for my 8th grade, 12th grade and college graduation (last month). One had straps, one was strapless and one was a halter. Nothing to low-cut or too short is appropriate. Talk with your friends, maybe arrange a day to go shopping together for graduation dresses. This way you'll have your girlfriends opinions, you will all feel a more comfortable with your dresses and you'll fit in with each other. Good luck and Congrats on getting through 8th grade!!

My sister just graduated 8th grade and she wore a black dress. When I graduated 8th grade I just wore a simple sun dress, you can really dress up or just wear a nice dress. In my case I would suggest not going as far as a PROM dress, but almost. Try not to reveal much skin, (parents will be there!) Good luck! You can find a lot of dress online...

To your 8th grade graduation depends on the ceremony really but my advice to you is to find out what some of your girlfriends are wearing. You are an 8th grader so following the trends is a must!

Ok, so It depends on what you like. Do you like very colorful dresses. Or just simply 1 color. If you have pretty legs than go for a dress thats above your knees. Also take into consideration how warm it will be on that day. If its going to be cold you might want to try out a longer dress. But in 2 1/2 weeks I think that it will be warmer,so try mid-length or knee high. You could shop at Jc Penneys, or Sears. If your parents allow strapless than you should diffently try it out. If your school has a dress code than you should with straps. But just to be on the safe side you should try straps.

try 2 b casual but elagent u should always look ur best but this time dont go so far as 2 showing off ur skin parents will b there u can try something that u can find n a dress shop at ur mall or something u can find online(if u r going online try 2 find something that u know will not b on back order and that will take 4-ever 2 get 2 ur house ) good luck and congrats:)

I would say a nice dress not like a prom dress. The prom looking dresses tend to look cheezy sometimes, but some people can pull it off. Just look for something cute but not very casual.

if u 8th grd grad party is set to formal- dont over do the formal thing..SEQUENCE'S ARE THE WORD-GLITTER IS IN i mean ur in the eighth grade so wear a cute boat neck top with a short skirt...or wear a fabulous top that you have and wear plain casual bootcut sexy jeans with it-or wear a mini jacket-inside that a candy coloured spaghetti and then wear capri jeans.
if u like dark colours plz stick to it and if u like light go with olive green since thts the colour of 2006..yellow alsos good if u wanna lift up ur mood..yeloow makes ur happy!
rememba dress like a celeb-think ur one!

depends on your particular style, but I wore a knee length black strap dress where the strap goes around my neck.
