I think that alot of rich individuals will be plotting assasinations because thats digging in their pockets but I hope that that is correct and will happen very soon

Yeah, big time. Oil is everywhere! Lots of oil workers out on rigs would be unemployed. Well, maybe not. Maybe they could be hired to help dismantle the rigs. Gas and fuel stations would really need a makeover. What about the plastic and wax industries? Wow, a really big makeover of the oil industry. Our ties to the Arab nations would be broken. There is gonna be a very interesting change over, if the powers that be can't stop this from happening. There will be power shifts all over this globe.

Pretty seriously actually - it would change our economy, and a lot of people would be out of work - but, we can never as far as I know, break totally away from oil - plastics are made from oil. So unless you want to try out a carbon fiber mouse, oil will be with us forever.
