It starts with the call of nature for reproduction, for the perpetuation of the species. Then comes the psychological attachment, the emotional need for settlement. Maybe originally more important for women than for men, because children.
Love is physical attraction and emotional attachment. The duration of it depends most of all to the will of staying together and the level to which the emotional, spiritual, economical and intellectual needs are satisfied .

As a woman all men will agree that we can give a different reason on a daily basis! Today I am going to say that the reason is to cause internal torture as to reason why. Perhaps it is a masked form of self-torture, mental flogging or a clear indicator that one needs to keep what we refer to as love between a man and women at arm's length.

It is for survival of the species.Love is the instinct that promotes nurturing. It leads to nurturing of children Love also feels good, it's a gift too. At least that is my opinion.
