Someone is texting me and leaving their number but I dont know who it is.How can I find out without calling them back?

Try the link below, it may not tell you WHO the number is listed to but it can tell you where the phone is based out of. You can also try contacting your cellular company, request they do a check or simply block the number if it becomes bothersome.

Try texting the number and just politely ask who they are and if they have the correct number. If they are genuine they will tell you if not then text them again and ask them to stop. If they continue, then your first port of call is to contact you network provider as they will be able to trace the number and although they will not give you a name they will deal with the problem on your behalf. The police are unlikey to help if you do not do this first. Unless of course they are threatening to cause you or your family harm.

Have someone else call the number. You could always block your number when you call this number back. Hit *67 then dial the phone number. Your number will not be displayed when you call.

sounds dodgy ask cops or your phone company...
Careful this may be one of those $111 a minute numbers...
Or could be some poor guy who a girl gave a phoney number to and quite innocent

can call the operator. Just call from another phone and withhold that number. If your worried you can have that number blocked. x

do a reverse search on whitepages.com if that dont work call it or have someone else call for you if it makes you that nervous.
