A company conducted a job fair in our city and i partecipated..Luckily i have passed the initial ,the exam and final interview...the interviewer told me that i should compile some requirements and wait for their call after 1 month...we also shake hands and he also told me congrats.....my question is that am I really accepted or thier is still a chance that the interviewer just say those thing so it will not make me feel bad and dissapointed.....what should i do? please help ....

He could have just meant, "Congratulations on getting this far." Generally, if you have gotten the job they don't make you wait. Why would they make you wait? If they are going to hire someone, normally, they are just going to hire them right away. Don't wait for them, keep searching for a job. Most likely this will become nothing, but it's still possible they will call you. If you are working and want this job, then maybe you don't need to search so hard, but if you are out of work, then keep looking. Keep your options open. Good luck.

Actually, I think you have the job. This has happened to a couple people I know; the company can't hire a person right away because of budgetary reasons, usually. What were the requirements you need to compile, and did you discuss salary and benefits?

Did you send them a thank you letter for the interview? Also, you should follow up with the company to see where your application stands. As there are so-o-o-o many applicants these days its the proactive candidate that will get the job.

Nope it sounds like you got the job you wanted! Although there is a chance that you didn't, so don't celebrate untill you know for sure that you got the job. Don't worry you probably got it.

as long as he or she didn't say anything negative i would hope for the best. these ppl dont usually pretend so your feelings aren't hurt, its usually nope you dont qualify thanks for coming
