Swing Kids has the best swing soundtrack
Rocky Horror Picture Show has the most fun and a very famous soundtrack
For good classic rock 'n' roll, I agree with you that Blow is one of the best soundtracks

I also liked some of the songs on Joe Dirt and Almost Famous, but not enough to make the entire soundtrack part of my top 3

Great question, but very hard to narrow it down to just three...
Forrest Gump's almost cheating, because it's 2CDs of some of the most iconic and mood-setting songs over the last five decades if American (and world) history.

Would have to put Shrek in there, because the title sequence song - All Star - is one of the ultimate upbeat, play-before-going-to-interviews songs of all time, and the version fo Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" stands the hairs up on the back of my neck much more than the original ever did. Plus of course there's a ************ version of I'm A Believer on there too.

This is where it gets tricky. School of Rock is an awesome soundtrack, and one I couldn't stop singing for months after I bought it.

The Lost Boys is another top fave - the versions of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me and People Are Strange surpass the originals there too.

Batman Forever, with the kicking U2 theme Hold me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, Seal's Kiss From A Rose and Bad Days from the Flaming Lips.

Back To The Future, with Huey Lewis, and Marty McFly's final version of Johnny B Goode.

Grease for the sheer singalong pleasure of We Go Together - "We go together like ramalamalama and kerdinkidingdinkidonk..." - I mean, you don't get lines like that everyday.

O Brother Where Art Thou for Man of Constant Sorrow, Nobody But the Baby, Big Rock Candy Mountain and the rest, High Fidelity for practically every track and on and on and on it goes...Great soundtracks all of them, and intensely difficult to chose the third of just three. Probably, at a push, Batman Forever, I think, but don't quote me on that tomorrow, cos my third place favourite will have changed by then...

Jeux interdits (Forbidden Games...who has not heard that music ?). One of the best internationally known movie of all time.

One movie - forgot title - which used the music "le Bolero" from Ravel. Hard to beat that track too !

Das Boot (entrancing !)..One great movie also !

The Wall : using "Another Brick In the Wall" album..Pink Floyd

All the movies which have Enio Morricone's music..corny but very catchy !

not a movie but : Riverdance. Absolutely brilliant.
