Thank you for your answers on the war in Iraq. I agree, with the majority of answers. How many of you feel that Saddam could have waited, for a few years, since there was no tangible evidence of weapons of mass destruction in evidence to the inspecters? Don't you think we would be better off, if the U.S. had waged an all-out war on the real terriorist? The real terriorist are still out there and they are the real threat, What a waste of taxpayers money and American lives, and for the wrong reasons.

There absolutely is no reason 4 the war in Iraq except 4 oil. It is very evident from the fact that in spite of Saddam accepting to step down, the reply from bush was that we shall enter Iraq whatsoever. History is witness beside WHERE are all the weapons 4 which we r loosing innocent lives from both sides 4 the few in the white house. Where are the FABRICATED lies of the CIA about bombs in Iraq????? and so many other questions that logic fails to reply but bush does????

THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION!!!
The real reason that Iraq was invaded, and I believe that history will bear this out, were twofold. The first was that Iraq posed a real and tangible treat to Israel, the other was that the West required a cheap and on-going stable supply of crude oil. If the Palestine problem was dealt with (forcing the Jews to share the Holy Land) I think that would take the wind out of the so-called terrorists sails When does a Terrorist become a Freedom Fighter?

my opinion.. Afghanistan had elections, and the Taliban's back was broke. in Iraq, during the first gulf war Saddam did use biological weapons on soldiers. i know several that suffer from gulf war syndrome. i think it was the right choice, we need to just level Iranian centrifuges now
