you could try aloe vera gel. or try sea shell cream. its more like a mexican cream . it took all my scars out from my face super fast!!! you could find this at any super market where they sell hispanic stuff. in spanish its called ( concha nacar) its whitening cream that has mother of pearl. they even make it on soap too.well you can also put honey on your scars.really good. good luck !!!! :)

It depends on what kind of scar, but vitamin E is good usually. You can buy Vitamin E capsules, break one open and gently massage the contents into the scar area. Be careful not to exceed the recommended doses though. There are rather expensive patches you can use on scars, available from the larger branches of Boots in the u.k..

If you have an open wound you can try honey or fine sugar, this dries the bacteria out and they cannot reproduce. But take medical advice first. You may be able to get something effective from your doctor rather than paying out a lot.

Microdermabrasion is a good method. They use a sandpaper like machine that improves the quality of your skin and improves the look of scars.
Palmers also do a good scar treatment oil.

I recommend Mederma. It's a little pricey, but I used it on a surgical scar years ago, and it did minimize the scar's appearance. I have fair skin, and scar and bruise easily, but with regular application of Mederma topically, the scarring effects were reduced.
