Take a hot shower before you shave and or splash very warm water on your face before you put your shaving cream on. Also put your shaving cream bottle in the sink with warm water. This will warm the shaving cream. You could also shave in the shower. All of that will help. There is a difference in shaving "cold" ie. not using warm water to relax sensitive skin, and shaving "warm". Aveeno Therapeutic shave gel is a good shaving gel that I use to avoid break outs. Also use a sharp razor, and make sure that your face is warmed up and lathered well. Hope that helps......

you'll have to use soap.. or shaving cream to prevent razor burn.. you might be shaving wrongly too...

to prevent ingrown hairs, some websites say to exfoliate your skin.. try to use a gentle one where u can do it daily.

I knew people with this problem. Eventually some went to a barber. They can do it perfect.
