Yes it is. I believe their marketing strategy is that the advertisements you see pay for the bill. When you search something and you notice that you are sent to a company, that is who pays Yahoo. There has been something in the news lately about Google with respect to this. So, as always, nothing is totally free. Hope this helps?

Everything on yahoo is free except for the music. But you can listen to the radio on yahoo for free.
This is kind of an odd place for this question. Not very sure what yahoo has to do with Turin.

not really, you get blasted with flashing irritating ads and popups left and right. the flashing ones are the worst. i will leave a page immediately if it has one of these, no matter how important the content may be. these are the door-to-door salesmen of the computer age. or maybe jehovahs witnesses.
